Before I review the Reunion schedule and accommodation details, a few of notes:
1. I mentioned in earlier letters that the Reunion would be held at the same time as the US Submarine Veterans annual convention, which runs from Sept.7 through Sept.12. Registration for the convention is $25.00 and will make you eligible to participate in various events including both Base and City tours. All the information is provided on the convention website USSVI – San Diego Convention 2009.
2. We have made arraignments for a photographer to take pictures before the banquet on Friday. She takes digital photos of individuals or groups at no cost, and has portraits of various sizes available for purchase after the banquet.

The reunion is being held at the Handlery Hotel on Hotel Circle. We have 70 rooms blocked out at a rate of $124.00 per night.
