What Happened To The Warriors?

Posted by on June 24, 2010

Every once in a while a get an email from someone using the Contact page to ask me if I know about the whereabouts of one of their old buddies. Why do you have to hide behind the contact page? What’s so scary about posting a note in the forums?

“Maybe I can just ask the web guy and he can check his secret network …”

THERE IS NO SUBMARINE WEBMASTER SECRET NETWORK.

The Pogy site is not run by a “buddy clearing house”. We don’t have a secret directory we can go look a name up and tell you. We don’t have a really cool phone book that ultimately leads to somewhere inside the Pentagon, or special logins somewhere that we can get into some database and pull up your old buddy’s current status.

If you’re looking for an old buddy from the Pogy, your best bet is to go into the Forums on the site and simply post a note saying hello, and who you’re looking for. It’s totally legal!

Go ahead post your hello and a shout out to your buddies right in the forum.

“Thank you for supporting our life long battle against Parkinson’s Disease. We know that Parkinson’s is a long and somewhat painful battle. Dale was diagnosed 6 years ago and is doing well. We also are aware what the future may bring. We cannot thank the Gardner Center enough for the care and treatment Dale has received from the great Team at the Gardner Center.”
